The fields located on the Masila concession operated by Nexen Inc,are at the mature stage,but there remains significant revenue potential in them,Given the provisions of the production-sharing contract,Nexen thinks the remaining reserves,which represent 20% of the total recoverable reserves at the outset,will generate 40% of the total cash flow expected over the life of the concession.
