JGC Awards a Contract to Honeywell for Automated Safety Systems at Dolphin Energy's Gas Production and Processing Facilities

The Japanese company JGC has awarded a contract to Honeywell of the U.S.for the supply of integrated control and safety systems to Dolphin Energy Limited (DEL).The automated systems are to be installed at DHL's two offshore gas production platforms at the North Field and at its gas processing plant in Ras Laffan.JGC is the main contractor for the construction of this plant,while J.Ray McDermott Middle East Inc.is building the two drilling and production platforms,DPI and DP2,that are to extract gas from the North Field (for the details,see AOG,16 Jan.,2004).
