Syria's Remaining Proven Hydrocarbon Reserves Put at 2.25 Billion Barrels of Oil and 284 Billion Cu M of Gas

Syria's remaining proven hydrocarbon reserves are estimated at some 2.25 billion barrels of crude oil and 284 billion cu m of natural gas,said the Syrian Oil Minister,Mr.Soufian Allao,in the course of a presentation outlining the country's oil strategy before Parliament.He added that total volumes in place were put at around 30.5 billion barrels of oil and 2,180 billion cu m of gas,making a total of 44.25 billion boe.
