Dragon Oil's Production jumped by 52% to 28,321 B/D in the First Half of 2007

The crude oil production of Dragon Oil,a subsidiary of Dubai-based Emirates National Oil Company(ENOC),totaled 5.1 million barrels,or an average of 28,321 b/d,in the first half of 2007,up from 3.4 million barrels(18,576 b/d)in the corresponding six months of 2006.Of that total,the share of production reverting to Dragon Oil from the offshore Cheleken concession in Turkmenistan rose from 13,444 b/d to 21,062 b/d from one period to the next.The price obtained by Dragon for the sale of its oil was virtually unchanged,having averaged 61.20/b in the first half of 2007 compared with 61.10/b in the corresponding period of 2006.
