Saipem's Contract for the Expansion of the Qurayyah Water Treatment Plant Converted into a Lump-Sum,Turnkey Contract

Through its subsidiary Snamprogetti,Saipem has won three contracts worth more than 1 billion euros in Saudi Arabia,Tunisia and Algeria.In Saudi Arabia,Saudi Aramco has awarded Saipem an EPC(engineering,procurement and construction)contract for the expansion of the Qurrayah seawater treatment plant,which is to serve the Khurais field.This contract was originally awarded in the second quarter of 2006 on a reimbursable basis(AOG,16 May,2006),but has now been converted into a lump-sum,turnkey contract.
