HONDA e: Rear-mounted PMBM

Much PR surrounded the Honda e prior to its launch. From when it was first presented in concept form at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017, the OEM stated its goal to develop an ultramodern and distinctive all-electric city car. Kudos to Honda's engineers because everyone at ETi agreed that, in this sense, the EV lives up to its billing... The battery is located low under the vehicle's floor, so the car's center of gravity is just 500mm from the ground, which, combined with a 50:50 weight distribution, provides stability and engaging handling. The lithium-ion pack stores 35.4kWh of energy. The electric motor is thought to be one of the most compact in its class, but true to what the auto maker claims, it still delivers exceptional torque feel. The entry-level variant produces 135ps of power, 315Nm of torque and accelerates to 100km/h in 9.0 seconds, but the Honda e Advance grade model that we got our hands on ups that power level to 153ps, cutting the 0-100km/h time to just 8.3 seconds.
