Six Companies Prequalified for the Subiya Power Station Invited to Submit New Bids in April

The Ministry of Electricity and Water has decided to reactivate the tender for the construction of the 2,000-MW Subiya power station, according to the Deputy Under-Secretaryof the ministry, Mr. Khaled al-Wasmi. Mr. al-Wasmi told Reuters that the six prequalified companies would be invited to submit new bids by mid-April based on different terms and conditions and embodying greater price flexibility to take account of the current economic circumstances.
