Government Approves the Partnership Between NPC and BP for the Further Development of the Risha Gas Field

At a meeting on 6 October, the Jordanian Cabinet gave its approval to the partnership agreements concluded between National Petroleum Company (NPC) and BP for the further development of the Risha gas field. The agreements cover the amendment to NPC's concession, a term sheet for the execution of the project, the sharing of interests between the two companies, and the exploitation of the field.
