Advanced Microwave Engineering's (Firenze, Italy) new EGOpro Manager 4.0 platform enables OEMs to evaluate safety measurement as a single measure of performance. The company claims that rather than just evaluating the risk of an accident, its new platform takes into consideration all aspects of vehicle movements, collects all data and displays it in a clear dashboard. The system records proximity to other vehicles and pedestrians, whether vehicles need to stop, how many vehicles and pedestrians are in an area, and the speed and distance vehicles are traveling.
