Isramco planning to drill more oil wells on the offshore med ashdod tract

Isramco intends to drill further oil wells offshore on the Med Ashdod tract, where it is operator in behalf of an Israeli consortium that also includes Granite Hacarmel Investments, Middle East Energy (MEE) and Delek Drilling. The British company BG, which used to have a 35% stake in the tract, pulled out at the beginning of 2002.
