Press release issued by Sonatrach on 20 January following the In Amenas hostage taking Sonatrach's Tribute

Sonatrach regrets and strongly condemns the terrorist attack carried out against the living quarters of the Tiguentourine gas field at In Amenas (in the Wilaya d'lllizi) on 16 and 17 January last. It pays a heartfelt tribute to the memory of the Algerian and foreign workers who died as victims of terrorist barbarity. It bows religiously before their courageous sacrifice and conveys its most since condolences to the victims' families.
