FEED Studies for the Riyadh Refinery's Clean Fuels Project Commissioned from Foster Wheeler SOFCON

Foster Wheeler SOFCON, a joint venture between a subsidiary of the Engineering and Construction Group of Foster Wheeler AG and A. Al Saihati, A. Fattani & O. Al Othman Consulting Engineering Co. (SOFCON), has been awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco for the frontend engineering and design (FEED) studies and project management services for the Riyadh refinery's Clean Transportation Fuels Project. The project is aimed at reducing the sulfur content of the gasoline and diesel oil produced by the refinery to 10 parts per million (ppm), as well as the benzene content of gasoline.
