Enhanced Degassers for GPC Applications

Biotech Fluidics recently introduced two advanced degassers designed specifically for Gel Permeation Chromatography(GPC)applications.These degassers,known as the DEGASi Plus GPC and DEGASi Plus GPC Semi-Prep,are designed to deliver superior performance and efficiency.In liquid chromatography systems,changes in pressure or temperature can cause gas molecules to form bubbles.This can have a negative impact on the precision,accuracy,and performance of the equipment.To mitigate this issue,using an online degasser is a reliable technique for removing dissolved gases from the fluid stream.These degassers have been proven to prevent bubble formation,reduce noise,and improve baseline stability,thereby ensuring more consistent results.However,some degassers are not suitable for GPC applications that use 100% organic solvents and may struggle to provide optimal performance in these conditions.
