Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (Takreer) has awarded a contract to The Shaw Group of the United States for the supply of project management consulting (PMC) services during the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) phase of the development of a base stock plant in Ruwais. The EPC contract was awarded to the South Korean company Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd. and is worth $463 million (AOG, 16 June, 2010). The Shaw Group says it will book the value of its contract in its third-quarter results.
