Infineon: Delta: Solar, Storage, and Charging Station

Infineon Technologies and Delta Electronics have developed a three-in-one system that integrates solar, home storage, and charging station. The electric car uses a bidirectional inverter to charge and can also be used as household buffer storage for emergency backup power. The output power of around 10 kW enables Delta's new system to provide a maximum continuous current of 34 A and achieve a peak efficiency of more than 97.5. Energy-efficient Silicon Carbide (SiC) power semiconductors from Infineon are used to increase the power density.
