Mubadala and Petrofac to Establish a Joint Venture EPC Services Company Called Petrofac Emirates

Petrofac Limited (which is listed on the London stock exchange) and Mubadala Petroleum Services Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi state investment company Mubadala Development Company, announced on 1 September that they were to create a joint venture to be called Petrofac Emirates. It will be based in Abu Dhabi and will supply EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services for onshore oil and gas projects and to the refining and petrochemical industries in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is due to start operating within the next few months.
