Yam Tethys Consortium Has Spudded a Well into One of the Satellite Reservoirs of the Mari B Field

The Yam Tethys consortium led by Noble Energy has spudded an exploration well into one of the satellite reservoirs of the offshore Mari B field. Located about 25 km from Ashkelon and 3.5 km from the Mari B field, the Pinnacles N°1 well is to be taken down to a target depth of 1,850 meters, including the depth of water of 75 meters. The well should be completed in April and is expected to cost $30 million.
