On the sidelines of the Global IWPP (Independent Water & Power Plant) Summit that was held in the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah and ended on 3 October, the local firm Utico Middle East and Shanghai Electric of China signed an agreement for the construction of what will be the world's "greenest" coal-fired power station in Ras al-Khaimah.
