Yemen LNG Denies Reports of Another Sabotage Attack Against the Pipeline Delivering Feed Gas to its Plant

Yemen LNG Company issued a denial on 4 September refuting reports of another sabotage attack against the gasline running from Block 18 to the Balhaf terminal on the Gulf of Aden. The company pointed out that the two trains of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant were functioning normally and that all the upstream facilities and the gasline were operating at full capacity. Four attacks against this pipeline have been officially admitted since the beginning of 2012 (AOG, 1 Sept., 2012).
