摘要

The latest edition of the World Energy Outlook - WEO - was published on 9 November by the International Energy Agency. The press release announcing this publication is reproduced below as well as some of the factsheets prepared by the IEA. AOG will publish a special report on the WEO 2010 in its 1 December edition. "The Copenhagen Accord and the agreement among G20 countries to phase out subsidies are important steps forward. But, these moves still fall a very long way short of what is required to set us on the path to a truly sustainable energy system", said Nobuo Tanaka, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency today [9 November] in London at the launch of the latest edition of the IEA's annual World Energy Outlook (WEO).
