WorleyParsons Contracted by Samref to Implement its Clean Fuels Project for the Yanbu Refinery

Saudi Aratnco Mobil Refinery Company Limited (Samref) has awarded a contract to the Australian company WorleyParsons for the implementation of its Clean Fuels Project at its refinery in Yanbu. The project calls for substantial modifications to be made to the refinery's units to bring them into line with regulations requiring a reduction in the sulfur content of gasoline and gas oil to 10 parts per million (ppm). The project, which is to be carried out in stages, is scheduled for completion in 2013.
