KPC Earned a Net Profit of 8.83 Billion in 2007-08

Referring to the principal achievements of the group and its subsidiaries during its 2007-08 financial year, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) indicates on its web site that its net earnings amounted to KD 2,367 million (about 8.83 billion) during the year, including investment income and other earnings of KD 571.8 million. KPC points out that it received the approval of the Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) for retaining the profits earned in 2007-08 for financing its proiects.
