Taqa Finalizes the Acquisition of the Non-Operated Interests of Talisman in the Brae Zone of the North Sea

Nearly a year after announcing that it was to acquire the non-operated interests of Talisman Energy in the Brae zone of the British sector of the North Sea (AOG, 1 Feb., 2007), Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Taqa) disclosed on 3 January that its subsidiary, Taqa Bratani Limited, had finalized the transaction on 31 December. The acquisition cost Taqa 550 million and was backdated to 1 January 2007.
