After announcing the issue of the first international tender since the fall of the regime of Saddam Hussein(see above),the Iraqi Oil Ministry is thought to be on the point of announcing a second,according to oil industry sources quoted by Dow Jones Nezvswires.The same sources added that further information on this subject could be provided on the occasion of a meeting in London on 13 October with representatives of foreign companies interested in the first tender.The second tender would relate to super-giant Iraqi fields that have not yet been developed.
