Parsons-Sytra and Parsons Brinckerhoff Win PMC and PE Contracts for the UAE Railroad

Union Railway has awarded the first contracts for the railroad network being developed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which will include a section devoted to the transport of over 7 million tons/year of sulfur produced by the Habshan and Shah development projects. WorleyParsons was commissioned to carry out a feasibility study of the project at the beginning of this year (AOG, 1 Nov., 2009, and 16 May, 2010).
