Mn alloy prices likely to fall in global markets by late 2018

Global Mn ore suppliers were able to raise their October-November offers moderately amid steadily high Mn ore quotes at Chinese ports along with an all-time rise in September SiMn tender prices. The increase in Mn alloy prices favoured a stabilization of ferroalloy producers' margin, so they will try to sell as many alloys as possible before the holiday lull. Seasonally lowered consumption will put pressure on Mn ore quotes by late 2018.
