Manganese alloy demand to keep recovering in India and stay moderate abroad

The average prices for Indian manganese alloys have climbed in a monthly comparison because of the increase in local manganese ore quotes in September and the removal of compensations. SiMn (65 Mn; 16 Si) has been offered at $910/t CIF, up $25/t month-on-month, SiMn (60 Mn; 14 Si) - at $830?860/t CIF ($820/t CIF in August), and HC FeMn (75 Mn) - at $895/t CIF ($850/t CIF). Export prices have lost some 3 by late September amid insufficient demand and high pressure from end users.
