FeCr prices may temporarily rise in China

HC FeCr prices in China dropped by some RMB 100/t month-on-month to RMB 5,800-5,900/t EXW ($0.66?0.68/lb Cr), while those for LC?FeCr fell by RMB 250/t to RMB 11,000-11,600/t EXW ($1.08-1.12/lb Cr). The European Cr alloy market continues to stagnate. Small deals for HC FeCr (60-65 Cr; 6-8 C) were closed at $0.72-0.80/lb Cr DDP versus $0.73-0.82/lb Cr DDP in early August. Relatively big deals (below 200 t) are only being signed among traders, and their prices are usually below said range. Indian HC FeCr was offered at $0.66/lb Cr CIF in the EU, but European consumers were in no rush to sign deals, asking for additional discounts.
