Mn ore prices to rise for short period

Average quotes have not changed over the month at $4.25/dmtu for Mn ore (44?46 Mn) and $38/dmtu for Mn ore (36?38 Mn), partly because most of major producers announced their prices in early December, when upturn was still not so dramatic in other materials. All prices are CIF China. UMK was the last to enter the market in mid-December with offers at $4.05/dmtu for March South African lumps (36 Mn), up 10 from February material prices. By Metal Expert estimate, other sellers will follow the uptrend next month.
