Indonesian coal producers are finding it more difficult to access loans in foreign currencies because of weak market conditions, said Destry Damayanti, chief economist at Indonesia's Bank Mandiri. Foreign-currency loans account for almost three times the amount of loans denominated in Indonesian rupiah, as coal producers view them as a natural hedge.
