Rising Rhine levels set to boost coal traffi

Water levels on the Rhine are set to climb to 306cm by 18 October, easing the transportation of coal along the river to major German utilities. Water levels at the key measuring point of Kaub stand at 214cm now, but are expected to swell over the next two days because of heavy rainfall. The increase in water levels could increase coal traffi along the river.
