India de-allocates four blocks

India's government has decided to de-allocate four coal blocks given to local companies that did not develop them within the deadlines specified in their contracts, following a recommendation from the Inter Ministerial Group (IMG). The government has accepted the recommendation, after the IMG meeting yesterday, when eight block cases were discussed.
