Coal consumption in the Netherlands reached a record highin April, as the country added new coal-fired capacity to thegrid.Coal burn at Dutch power plants totalled 1.26mn t, a44.5pc increase on the year and its highest since at least thestart of 1991, data from Statistics Netherlands show.And supply stood at 1.63mn t, 26,000t above the previoushigh set in January.
