Capesize market rates declined further this week as charterers stepped back from the market and public holidays in China pushed down demand on iron ore freight routes.In the Pacific basin, Capesize rates for 160,000t iron ore cargoes from the west coast of Australia to north China ended the week at $7.90/t, up from $7.60/t at the end of last week.
