Tough talking from Thuraya

Abu Dhabi-based satellite service provider Thuraya Telecommunications has launched what it claims to be "the world's toughest satellite phone". The new Thuraya XT handheld is apparently the only satellite phone complying with world telecom IP54/IK03 standards - ie splash water resistant, dustproof and shockproof. It has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the maritime, oil and gas and military sectors.
