Liberia offers anti- piracy measures

A computer-based programme designed to train seafarers and company security officers to avoid and deter pirate attacks has been produced by the Liberian Registry. Its development a meeting of the UN Contact Group on Somalian Piracy, at which the Republic of Liberia signed the New York Declaration, a commitment to best management practice to avoid, deter or delay acts of piracy.
