Bulk code updated

An updated and retitled version of the IMO'sCodeofSafePracticeforSolidBulk Cargoes (BC Code) has been published and is being recommended for voluntary use until it becomes mandatory in 2011. Now known as The International MaritimeSolidBulkCargoes(IMSBC) Code, it presents additional information that supplements the IMSBC Code, including the Code of Practice for the Safe Loading and Unloading of Bulk Carriers (BLU Code) and Recommendations on the safe use of pesticides in ships applicable to the fumigation of cargo holds.
