CNR to load coal at Carbosan port

Colombian Natural Resources (CNR), a unit of US investment bank Goldman Sachs, will start loading coal at the Santa Marta-based port of Carbosan, after regulators suspended loadings because of its failure to comply to new rules. "This is a direct negotiation between the producer and Sociedad Portuaria de Santa Marta (the holding company of Carbosan). The government is facilitating the negotiation," Acosta told reporters on the sidelines of the Fenalcarbon coal conference. "The port has available capacity to export some CNR coal," he added.
