A Perfect Fit For Smaller Ports

When Nynas Petroleum in Sweden was formulating its requirement for a pair of bitumen tankers now under construction at Wuhan Nanhua Huanggang Jiangebi Shipyard in China, uppermost in its considerations were the limitations imposed on the vessels' size by the smaller ports and harbours they would work into. It was also important to maximise the volume of cargo that could be carried in a vessel of restricted dimensions. The design process has resulted in a pair of compact yet high-specification vessels with several interesting features.
