Oceanic Sirius on the move

? Norwegian builder Ulstein handed over the latest of its innovative X-Bow ships, the 12,550gt research survey vessel Oceanic Sirius, on 3 October. The SX120-type vessel is owned by a joint venture of shipowner Eidesvik of western Norway and French geophysical specialist and long-term charterer CGGVeritas. As with its sister vessel Oceanic Vega, it has the innovative X-Bow hullform and the latest technological innovations. The vessel's hull was constructed by the Maritim yard in Gdansk, with final assembly and fitting out performed at Ulstein Verft.
