CNPC finalises Yamal LNG ent

Russian independent gas producer Novatek has completed the sale of 20pc in the Yamal LNG production project in northern Russia to China’s CNODC, a subsidiary of state-owned CNPC. The preliminary deal was signed in September and was finalised after all necessary regulatory approvals were received. CNPC will pay an undisclosed sum reimbursing Novatek for past Yamal LNG costs.
