A new communications system that boasts of groundbreaking business and crew communications and apps through broadband terminals without extra cost has been launched by Tele-mar in conjunction with Vizada. SeaMore is a full-service communications solution that comprises access to onboard communications in privacy -similar to GSM but without roaming costs - a number of maritime application suites, Vizada XChange and an interactive website. All of these features could be made accessible to seafarers on board using their own smartphones and tablets, such as iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android devices.
