US yard wins new PSV order

United States shipbuilder Leevac Shipyards has disclosed that it has signed a shipbuilding contract with New Orleans-based Tidewater Marine for two platform supply vessels with options for a further two ships arranged as part of the contract. The 5,400dwt vessels are set for delivery during 2015 and will be built to the yard's own design, dubbed the LDS300DE PSV, which has a length overall of 92m and a beam of 19m.
