Hantong in order double

Jiangsu Hantong Ship Hi of China recently won orders for a total of six bulk carriers in two separate deals for delivery in 2014 and 2015. First, German shipowner Peter Dohle contracted three handy-size bulkers with options for a further two units having been arranged within the contract. The 38,800dwt ships will be based on Shanghai Design Research institute's (SDARI) new 38-type standard design with delivery booked from the second quarter in 2015.
