Many companies claim to be total end-to-end logistics providers, but closer examination reveals that some are little more than forwarders. However, Jardine Logistics, the 3PL arm of Hong-Kong based Jardine Pacific, claims that it stands apart from its competitors. It even has its own definition of supply chain management: 'The effective management of the transportation, storage and distribution of goods and most importantly the related information from the pre-production stage to the end-users.
