Lactation lysine boosts milk protein

Some experimental results with potentially important implications for future sow feeding strategies have been reported to an international conference held in Australia. Sweeping aside previous beliefs, they indicated that it is possible to increase the concentration of protein in the milk from a young sow by giving her a higher-lysine diet during lactation.
