German exports down,output scaled back

Germany's net exports of wood pellets fell in August to their lowest since April,according to statistics office Destatis.The figure appears to balance out unusually high July exports. The three-month average of the country’s net exports had increased steadily this year,after briefly dipping below zero last winter.But net exports of less than 18,000t in August have dragged the running monthly average lower again,after official July net exports of 50,000t pushed it to an 18-month high of more than 40,000t.
