Renewables need to be integrated into the market

Renewable energy technologies need to be integrated into the market if they are to continue developing,French utility GDF Suez renewable energy director Jean-Baptiste Sejourne said at a gas and electricity conference in Paris. Europe is expected to add around 100GW of renewable generation capacity in the next five years and the EU today committed to a mandatory EU-wide target of at least 27pc renewables in final energy consumption by 2030.
