Sinotrans and NRS form JV for retail logistics

Sinotrans and US-based logistics provider National Retail Systems (NRS) have formed a joint-venture called SinoNRS to offer integrated factory-to-store logistics solutions in the US. SinoNRS will also offer US retailers value-added services, such as ticketing, labelling and packaging. It will also cater for sea, air and haulage shipments. Each company will benefit from the other's domestic strengths. Zhang Jianwei, president of Sinotrans, said: 'Already a leading integrated logistics player in China, Sinotrans has expanded its services overseas in the past few years.
