摘要

Reliability of data center network topology is an important issue that ensures successful system operations. It increases product quality and reduces production costs. Thus, in this paper, we aim at analyzing the advantages of data center network topology taking reliability and profit requirements into account. We consider distributed data center network topology having three components, i.e., client applications, directory proxy server, and master servers. For the purpose of generality, we study the system with the help of supplementary variable technique, Gumbel–Hougaard family copula and integral transformation to formulate differential equations and obtain important reliability physiognomies namely availability of the system, reliability of the system, mean time to failure (MTTF) and expected profit analysis. Tables and figures show the computed results. The computed results allow us to generalize that copula repair is a better repair policy for improved performance of repairable systems. It provides a new aspect to engineers to accept multi-dimension repair in form of copula. Moreover, the outcomes of the model are helpful for system engineers and designers, reliability and maintenance managers.
